Where to Stay

Hotels and Resorts

Deciding where to stay for a destination bachelor party can be tricky. While Fort Lauderdale has a wide variety of options, we strongly suggest staying at a resort facility. In resorts, rooms are spacious, clean, and safe. Resorts have on-site facilities for breakfast, workout rooms, pools, and other amenities that mean that individual members of the party can get up, do their own thing, and then easily come together when it’s time to hang out. Best of all, resorts have knowledgeable concierges and friendly staff, who can help you get the best out of your vacation. Our favorite resorts in Fort Lauderdale are below.

When to Go

Best Time

The best time to head to Fort Lauderdale if money is no option would be November – April.  This is considered in-season where areas are more crowded, hotel prices are higher, and even flights will be a little more.  This is also when South Florida has the best weather – less rain and lower temperatures.

On a Budget

If money is tight or you would rather spend your hard earned cash on something other than your friend, you should head down to Lauderdale in the months of May – September.  Do be aware that this time is rainy season, hurricane season, and temperatures/humidity are at all time highs, so make sure you pack your gold bonds.

Whenever you decide to head to Broward County, the home of FLL, make sure you protect your investment and purchase travel insurance.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Fort Lauderdale is probably the place where your dad went for Spring Break or maybe even had one of his bachelor parties there (for his first wife at least).  It used to be the hot spot back in the day but has since died down a bit.  This doesn’t mean you still won’t have a good time.  There are tons of good restaurants, bars, clubs, and young chicken heads running around wasted, looking for something to blow on.  We consider Fort Lauderdale a “safe bet” for a bachelor party.
